The drawer set is made of 3/4" birch plywood for excellent strength
and durability. The drawers are trimmed in industrial grade carpet and
rubber nosing. The drawer's frame bolts securely and seamlessly to four
OEM mounting points inside the FJ. No drilling or other body modifications
required.
- Versatile.
- Four tie down hooks add versatility. The carpet is specifically chosen
to match factory floor mats. Flat black paint adds protection and complements
the FJ's interior. A double thick top surface allows for mounting a
variety of tools, from CO2 systems and air compressors to fridges and
fire extinguishers.
- Secure.
- Pin latches and cam drawer locks against steel braces secure valuables.
Large handles make the drawers easy to open with gloved hands and are
rattle free. A variety of handle options are available including spring-loaded
and recessed handles.
- Functional.
- All seams are sealed and drawers are lined in industrial grade
carpet to ensure longevity and help protect tools. The dimensions have
been considered to create more efficient use of the FJ's cargo area
and not impede on design elements like the factory subwoofer and fold
down seats.
- Accessible.
- Each drawer slides smoothly on steel bearings rated to hold 100lbs.
